What are Past Season Transfers (PSTs) and Marked Out of Stock (MOS) goods?

PSTs (also known as Seasonal Shelf Pulls or Marked Out of Stock) are First Quality/new inventory that is marked out of stock from retail stores. Retail stores change their inventory seasonally and previous inventory is removed to make room on the shelves for the new season’s items. PSTs are primarily comprised of First Quality items, but occasionally contain slight damage from increased handling.

What is black-lining?

Many famous brands enforce the marking of their main labels with an indelible marker to identify that the item was not purchased directly through their primary retail channels. This is necessary for the brands to control unauthorized returns to their retail stores.

What are First Quality goods?

Retail-ready merchandise that is free of any defects and has not been in a retail store.

What are Shelf Pulls?

Previous inventory that was never sold directly to the consumer online or at a retail store. Shelf pulls are new but can sometimes show light signs of handling.

What are Customer Returns?

Merchandise returned by the consumer per the retailer’s return policy. Liberal return policies from famous brands create a wide range of qualities that are returned. There may also be nothing wrong with the item.

What are Irregulars?

Merchandise is slightly off size specifications or include fabric shading, needle lines, and fabric slubs.

What are Mini quality goods?
